Born in 1968 in Ulsan, Park Min-gyu studied creative writing (BFA) at Chung-Ang University. Lionized from the very beginning for his unconventional style and irreverent attitude, Park received the Munhak Dongne Literary Award for his novel The Legend of the Earthling Heroes and the Hankyoreh Literary Award for his novel The Last Fan Club of the Sammi Superstars in 2003 and the Shin Tong-yop Fund for Writers for his short story collection Sponge Cake in 2005. - 창비. 홈에서
