The concept of re-design springs from the love for little dents and scars found on objects of daily life. The scratch technique learned in primary school is used, the fabulous colors are exposed after a layer being scratched away. The used plastic chairs are colored naturally with acrylic paint and they are covered with spray in overall. After this process, dents are deliberately made onto the chairs with the sandpaper. This work talks about the people of the modern world who easily get frustrated and depressed over a small scar, obsessed about impeccable things.

매일 사용하는 물건들에서 발견되는 흠집과 상처에 대한 애정에서 시작된 컨셉의 리디자인이다. 한 겹 벗겨내면 화려한 색이 쏟아져나오던 초등학교때 배운 스크래치 기법을 이용하였다. 기존에 사용했던 플라스틱 의자 위에 아크릴물감으로 자유롭게 컬러링하고 스프레이를 사용하여 전체적인 도색을 한 후 사포로 흠집을 내었다. 조그만 흠집만 나도 정색을 하며 우울해지는 현대인들의 새끈한 물건증후군에 대해 이야기하는 작업이다.
